A few questions.
How do I make a GIF transparent?
Drop it here. The remover finds the colour along the border and clears it from every frame. Raise the tolerance if some background stays, and lower it if the character starts to fade.
Can it remove any background from a GIF?
It works on a flat colour, such as a green screen or a white or black backdrop. A photo or a moving background has too many colours to clear by colour.
What does touching the edges mean?
Only the background joined to the border is cleared, so the same colour inside the character, such as white eyes, stays. Everywhere clears that colour from the whole picture.
Why are the edges of my transparent GIF rough?
A GIF pixel is either clear or solid. Download a WebP or APNG to keep soft edges, or show the GIF on a background close to the old one.
Is my GIF uploaded?
