See that the session is alive without opening it.
- 02Waiting
Catch the question before the agent sits idle.
- 03Done
Return when the work is ready.

The practical bits
Before your companion moves in.
What is an AI desktop companion?
It is an animated character that stays on your desktop and makes useful events easier to notice. In Masko, the same mascot can react to AI agent states, small companion apps, and moments in your day.
Which AI agents work with Masko?
Masko supports Claude Code, Claude Cowork, Codex, Cursor, Grok Build, Kimi Code, and Hermes Agent. The exact actions available depend on the agent integration.
Is Masko another chatbot window?
No. Masko stays beside your existing work and gives important states a visible character. You keep using your normal agent, editor, and terminal.
Can I choose or create the character?
Yes. Start with Ko, choose a mascot from the marketplace, or create a new mascot from a description or picture.
Does it work without an AI agent running?
Yes. Companion apps can give the mascot other useful jobs, including focus sessions, breaks, breathing, water reminders, music reactions, and system health.
What Mac does Masko require?
Masko Desktop supports macOS 14 or newer.
