What is the difference between a desktop companion and a desktop pet?

A desktop pet emphasizes playful presence. A companion also carries useful states, questions, reminders, and small apps.

Does it replace my AI app?

No. Masko makes important states visible and sends you back to the correct tool when that tool owns the answer.

Can I use my own character?

Yes. Create from a description or picture, or choose an existing mascot.

Can I start without creating anything?
