AI TALKING CHARACTER GENERATOR

Make your mascot talk.In its own voice.

Write what your character says and add its moves in [brackets]. Masko records the line in your mascot’s voice and animates it saying every word, for onboarding, product demos, meeting recaps, and launch posts.

Gubby, a Masko mascot, in his own voice.

Write the line. Add the moves.

A talk works like a little script. The words are spoken, the movements in brackets are acted, and a feeling after a comma changes how the voice sounds.

01

Give your mascot a voice

Masko suggests voices that fit your character, plays three samples, and keeps the one you choose. Variants can share it or get their own.

02

Write what it says

Type the line and add movements where they start, like [waves hello, excited] or [leans in, whispering]. Words in brackets are never spoken.

03

Get your talking animation

Masko records the voice, then animates your mascot saying it. Download MP4, transparent WebM and HEVC, the voice as MP3, and a transcript.

Onboarding · Ko

[waves hello, cheerful] Welcome in! [leans in, whispering] Psst... the big orange button does everything. [points down, proud] That one!

Product update · Aubergino

[adjusts his tie, very serious] Ladies and gentlemen, big announcement. [pauses, dramatic] We fixed the bug. [throws his arms up, overjoyed] All of them!

Celebration · Acorn

[gasps, amazed] You finished your first lesson? [jumps, shouting with joy] That's amazing! [whispers, paw by the mouth] I'm telling everyone.

Pick your mascot, write what it says, and click to make it talk. Here is the whole flow in 30 seconds.

Whisper, shout, or laugh

One line can change mood several times. The voice and the movements follow each bracket, so a whisper sounds like a whisper and a shout looks like one.

Captions included

Every talk comes with a transcript that times each word and each sentence, ready for subtitles in your app or video editor.

THE LITTLE DETAILS

A few questions.

we were hoping you’d ask.

What is a talking character generator?

It turns a written line into a video of a character saying it. In Masko, your mascot speaks the line in its own voice and acts out the movements you write in brackets, on a transparent background you can place anywhere.

How do I make my character talk?

Open your mascot in Masko Studio, give it a voice, then choose Talking and write what it says. Add movements in brackets, check the estimate, and generate. You can also send the same line through the API.

Is this a talking avatar for my photo?

Masko makes illustrated mascots and characters talk, not realistic videos of people. Start from your own character artwork, or create a new mascot in Masko Studio first.

How long can a talking animation be?

Up to 2 minutes. Up to 15 seconds, your mascot performs the line in one continuous take. Longer talks are cut in their natural pauses into takes of 5 to 15 seconds and joined into one video.

Which languages can my mascot speak?

Every language its voice supports. Masko detects the language from the words, or you can set it yourself.

How much does it cost?

A talking animation costs 3 credits per second of video. The price is shown before you generate, and unused seconds are refunded once the voice is recorded. Adding a new voice unlocks after $50 spent on Masko.
