THE LITTLE DETAILS

A few questions.

What size are Twitch emotes?

Square, in three sizes: 112, 56 and 28 pixels, each under 1 MB. Upload one 112 px file and Twitch makes the smaller ones, or upload all three.

How long can an animated emote be?

Up to 60 frames, in a GIF under 1 MB. The maker lowers the frame rate of longer clips to stay under 60 frames.

Who can upload emotes?

Twitch Affiliates and Partners, from the Creator Dashboard.

Is my file uploaded?

No. Everything runs in your browser.

Can I have emotes of my own mascot?

Yes. Make your mascot in Masko Studio, animate its reactions, then turn each one into an emote here.
