A few questions.

Can I start with a character I already have?

Yes. Upload your artwork, then use it as a reference for new poses and animations. You can also start from a description.

Will my animations have a background?

WebM and HEVC MOV support transparent backgrounds. Choose the format for your browser or app; standard MP4 has an opaque background.

Do I need to host the files myself?

No. Masko provides public URLs for published assets. You can also download and host the files yourself.

Can I use my mascot commercially?

You can use the outputs you create commercially, subject to Masko’s terms and rights in your source material. Marketplace companions have separate terms.

What does it cost?

Creating images and animations uses paid credits. Costs are shown before you generate. The Mac app is free; paid companions and subscriptions are separate.
